Access

Masuya Guest House is located in Shimosuwa-Town (下諏訪町) in the Suwa area of Nagano Prefecture. From Shinjuku it is a 2.5-hour ride on the Azusa Express train and can be reached from the Kansai area in about 3.5 hours by using Shinkansen and Express trains. There are also cheaper buses from Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

《Parking》 There are two parking lots in Masuya.

• 1. Tomo no Machi parking lot number 50-53 in front of the Masuya.
• 2. You can use the 3 parking spaces at the back entrance of the inn (look for the yellow Masuya P sign).

• ※Spaces other than numbers 50 to 53 in the municipal parking lot are reserved for other contract holders. Please be careful not to stop.
• ※Municipal parking lots may charge a fee during busy seasons such as the Obon Holidays and New Year holidays.
• ※Please note that our hotel cannot be held responsible for any troubles caused by unauthorized parking, etc.

Please pass through the free parking lot at the entrance and proceed to the monthly parking lot in the back.

Numbers 50-53 are located in the Tomo-no-machi parking lot in front of the main gate on the west side.

Getting to Masuya Guest House

From JR Shimosuwa Station

1. Walk out of the ticket gate and continue straight on the street in front of you.

2. You will come to a stop light at Rte. 20; go across the street and walk through the “友の町” parking lot in front of you.

3. You will see a red brick wall on your right. 4. You will see an entrance to Masuya.

From Highway Bus Stop

All buses arrive at the corner of the “友の町” parking lot. Go through the parking lot to find the entrance along the red brick wall.
