Access
Masuya Guest House is located in Shimosuwa-machi (下諏訪町) in the Suwa area of Nagano Prefecture. From Shinjuku it is a 2.5-hour ride on the Azusa Express train and can be reached from the Kansai area in about 3.5 hours by using Shinkansen and Express trains. There are also cheaper buses from Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

Getting to the Masuya Guest House
From JR Shimosuwa Station
1. Walk out of the ticket gate and continue straight on the street in front of you.
2. You will come to a stop light at Rte. 20; go across the street and walk through the “友の町” parking lot in front of you.
3. You will see a red brick wall on your right. 4. You will see an entrance to Masuya.
From Highway Bus Stop
All buses arrive at the corner of the “友の町” parking lot. Go through the parking lot to find the entrance along the red brick wall.
